NEF Engines was developed by the Alliance of Iveco, New Holland and Cummins.
NEF is an abbreviation and it stands for NEW ENGINE FAMILY. It is divided in 2 groups:
- ON ROAD application (trucks and buses) - TECTOR engines, 4 and 6 cylinders, 102 mm piston
- NEF - INDUSTRIAL (OFF ROAD) application fitted in power generators, forklifts, earth moving machinery and tractors, diam. 102 and 104 mm, 3, 4 and 6 cylinder engines (F4GE, F4CE, F4BE, F4HE engines).
